This is his actual scottish cup medal, its never been out the box since he got it - its all engraved in the back with the details - name - team name - year and scottish cup winners - maybe we could catch up - ill be home form the states in june -

I remember Tommy Watson as a very good player who was unlucky not to be in the Scottish cup final team. I spoke to John Glover today who took his place, he had just come back after a spell out through injury. He also remembers Tommy well and spoke highly of him. Is the medal for the Stirlingshire cup? He certainly played in the final and scored in a 6-3 win over Alva Albion Rangers

Updating the history is something I have had in mind for some time. It will have to wait till time is available though, that might not be too far away now however. I would like to include more of the early (prewar) history and perhaps something about other Kilsyth based clubs such as Emmet and Wanderers, even Croy Celtic perhaps if the information can be got. The fifteen years since the publication of my original history have included some good years, and quite a few bad, but the story has to be told nevertheless. Also it is unlikely I would publish in the same format, perhaps a supplement to the original, or just as an on-line publication although I favour something on paper, just being old fashioned but it is the only thing that is likely to survive for more than a year or two.
