If you are back later this year then contact us and you can visit Duncansfield and have a look at some of our memorabilia. It will probably be our close season though and you won't be able to see a game. There are still a couple of ex-players around who played with your father in 1955 and John Glover, for one, would I am sure be pleased to met you and contribute his memories of your dad.
Tommy Watson played in several of the Scottish cup games leading up to the 1955 (note) final. His place was taken by John Glover who had been out through injury but was preferred for the final. I spoke to john today and he spoke very highly of your father. Is the medal for the Stirlingshire cup? He played in the final which we won 6-3 over Alva Albion Rangers and scored in that game.
