Fergy contacted STV a while back about the recording of this game and was told it was lost in a warehouse fire, along with thousands of other tapes that were in storage.
Iâ??m sure the tent you refer to was for tv cameras! It might have been a local derby game v Kirkintilloch Rob Roy (perhaps a Cup game) with highlights on tv! I might have been watching from the shed to the right of the tunnel, which is where the players and cCommittee etc went for their pie, tea and expenses after every home game!
I was that man in the number 9 blue jersey. Yes, that green tent I can confirm was tv cameras.
As I recall, I rushed my girlfriend out of the odeon cinema in glasgow at 2130 so i was in time for scotsport at 2200 so I could see the recording of the game.
The score was nil nil.
